Colors have the amazing power to influence. The colors we wear influence others and reflect our personality. The colors we see affect our moods, our desires and our feelings. Colors are present all around us but their effect is quite inconspicuous. We do not usually recognize the difference, colors are making to us.
Most people fancy blue as their favorite color. Blue is pretty common in our lives. The sky is blue, so is the ocean. To me, blue represents depth, depth of feeling. Blue is also a symbol of honesty, reliability and trust. It is also calming to the mind. Usually, blue is conceived as the most popular overall favorite color among people.Green is also to people’s liking and occupies most of the space around us. We are used to seeing it more than any other color. Green is very common in the natural world. Naturally, our eyes are suited to seeing it. Green also represents life. It is relaxing for us and helps alleviate anxiety and depression.Yellow symbolizes growth, bright future and hope. It is the color of the sun. The sun, like yellow, is a beacon of energy and optimism. It is mentally simulating for us, activates memory and encourages communication.Red is a sharp color. It is a sign of danger, alarm and peril. It also means temper or anger. However, to some, it represents strength and life. Blood is red. To some this means that blood is a mark of life. But others see it as fear and anxiety. It draws attention and is used to focus the thoughts of many on a single point. Red is also attributed to be a mark of energy, more red means more energy. Red affects us by creating enthusiasm and inspiring energy into us. It is also a mark of safeguard from fears and fretfulness. Red roses are also a symbol of love.White is an icon of purity and cleanliness. Pages are white, walls are usually white and so are a ship’s sails. Doctors wear white coats, too. They bring a healthy spirit into us. It is also a symbol of faith, peace and prosperity. Brides wear white and fences surrounding a happy home are white. White helps us to clear our minds. It also evokes purity of thoughts and actions.Black projects strength. It evokes strong emotions. It is very graceful to wear and makes the wearer look sophisticated. It affects us by making us feel insignificant and inconspicuous. But is rouses our ability to do something big, something to be remembered for.In short, colors have powers, powers to change and effect.
